自分が熟せている事を改めて思い返す。過去の自分の成果を思い出す事によって、自己肯定感が上がる。成功体験を認識する事で次の行動に勇気が湧いてきます。また、日常の無意識にも目を向けて「出来ている自分」を見つける。
人は現状に満足すると、歩みを止めてしまうのか? 私は違います。物事を達成出来た時、達成したことに満足します。そして「まだ出来る」「もっと上を目指せる」等の向上心が湧いてきます。という事は日頃から「出来た事」に対して目を向けるように心掛けていると、向上心が沸き上がる状態が増えるのではないか？つまり満足すればする程、もっと上を目指したくなる。
小さな出来ている事を認めていく。一日のルーティンを熟す上であっても熟せている事に「出来ている」と認識していく。出来ていない事があったとしても、出来ていない事に注目してはいけない。出来ていない事実はある。しかし「気にしすぎ」てはいけないのです。出来ていない事や失敗に目を瞑るのではなく「自分がどう捉えているか？」を俯瞰してみる。
失敗を無視するのではなく、捉え方を変えていく。失敗は経験なのです。経験出来た事なのです。自分を責める必要はありません。出来ない自分を認めてあげる事をきっかけに「どうあるべきか？」を考えていく。
多面的な目線で「自分の捉え方」を変えていく。もちろん良い方向に。それは「お化け煙突」のようにある方向から見れば4本の煙突に見え、違う方向から見れば重なった煙突があり３本に見え、また違う方向から見れば２本にも見えるのです。自分の目線を合理的に書き替えるのです。
たとえ小さな事であっても出来ている事に目を向けると成功体験になる。また過去の大きな成功を思い出す時は達成した時の感情を思い出す。そして今、壁にぶち当たっているのなら乗り越えた時の感情を想像してみる。
